Scheduling BCG and IL-2 Injections for Bladder Cancer Immunotherapy Treatment

Cancer is one of the most common families diseases today with millions new patients every year around world. Bladder cancer (BC) prevalent types affecting both genders, and it not known to be associated a specific group in population. The current treatment standard for BC follows weekly Bacillus Calmette–Guérin (BCG) immunotherapy-based therapy protocol which includes BCG IL-2 injections. Unfortunately, due biological clinical complexity interactions between immune system, treatment, cells, outcomes vary significantly among patients. existing models are commonly developed non-existing average patient or pose strict, unrealistic, expectations on process. In this work, we propose extensive ordinary differential equation-based model date deep learning-based scheduling approach obtain personalized schedule. Our results show that resulting schedules favorably compare practices state-of-the-art approach.
